Co-op Local Community Fund
WSRA is participating in a 12 months funding partnership with the Co-op Local Community Fund running from 19 October 2025 until 17 October 2026.
WSRA support from the Co-op Local Community Fund will go towards our community project which aims to provide railway oriented days out to promote health and wellbeing, fight isolation and loneliness and encourage new experiences including volunteering. We want people to make friends and have fun.
The Co-op Local Community fund helps us to bring those benefits to vulnerable people, bringing them out of their normal environment and building their self-belief.
So how does it work?
All Co-op members are invited to choose a local community cause that they would like to support. Our cause is number 94155 and is linked to the Co-op Food Stores at:
- Bishops Lydeard, Church Street, TA4 3AT
- Wellington, Fore Street, TA21 BAQ
- Wiveliscombe, The Square, TA4 2JT
