The WSRA Trustees met on Monday 9th January at Williton and via TEAMS. Amongst the items discussed were:
- Minutes of the Previous meeting on 12 December were approved and have been placed in the members section of the website.
- Landslide near Tribble Bridge – Trustees noted that expert investigations had been undertaken and that a plan of action would be needed. It was likely that some form of fundraising campaign would be necessary but it’s too soon to know the details. Trustees resolved to write formally to the PLC offering support and help in general terms until more detail is known.
- 4561 progress – Trustees noted that engaging a boiler inspector was now a priority and that initial enquiries had been made with two companies and discussions were ongoing. It was agreed that a WSRA working party would be offered to help with sorting and cleaning components.
The blog has been updated and can be viewed HERE - Relationships on the WSR – Trustees were pleased to note that there had been several joint meetings with the PLC and with the WSRHT, all with the aim of working together for the benefit of the railway.
