The WSRA Trustees met on Monday 17th April at Williton and  via TEAMS.  Amongst the items discussed were:

 

  • Minutes of the Previous meeting on 13 March  were approved and have been placed in the members section of the website.
  • Landslide near Tribble Bridge –Trustees were advised that the campaign had now reached its £25,000 target and together with the WSRA match funding pledge a total of £50,000 was now available for the work.
  • 4561 progress – Trustees were pleased to note that JP had sourced all the missing paper work for the boiler and thanked him for his work on this. He was asked to prepare a scope of work for the boiler for Trustees’ approval.
  • Publication of WSRA policies – Trustees agreed that publication of policies on the public website should now begin.
  • Legacy – Trustees expressed their gratitude for a large legacy from WSRA member Richard Marwell
  • WSR community Engagement –  Trustees agreed to spend part of the legacy alongside other funds to employ a part-time community engagement worker to develop railway walks, both organised and self-led, together with a wider programme of outreach.
