The WSRA Trustees met on Tuesday 10th May at Bishops Lydeard and  via TEAMS.  Amongst the items discussed were:

• Minutes of the Previous meeting – on 12th April were approved and are available for members to view in the members section of this website.
• Steam Rally – Trustees were pleased to note that arrangements for the rally are progressing well. The team will meet again later this week.
• Washford Station – Trustees agreed a grant of £175 to purchase the original Washford East Ground Frame sign
• WS Restoration facilities – Trustees agreed to authorise the expenditure of general funds to supplement the donated funds already held in order to progress the purchase of a new mobile toilet unit for WS Restoration at Williton. The unit will include separate female facilities.
• New Committees – WSRA has submitted representatives to both the Safety committee and the Heritage committee.
• 4561 restoration – the new piston castings are expected any day now.
