At the West Somerset Railway Association Annual General Meeting on Saturday 26 September 2026, Edward Martin was re-elected as Chair, with Mike Lanning re-elected as Vice Chair.

The AGM also confirmed the Association’s new Board of Trustees, bringing together a combination of continuing trustees and new members with a broad range of experience and knowledge of the railway and the wider heritage sector.

The Board now comprises:

• Mike Lanning – Vice Chair
• Craig Cox – Trustee
• Jeff Price – Trustee
• Denise Parker – Trustee
• John Glover – Trustee
• Don Bishop – Trustee
• Dee Childs – Trustee
• Frank Houlding – Trustee
• Ian Coleby – Trustee

The Board will be supported by three advisors who bring additional specialist knowledge and experience:

• Andrew Horner – Advisor
• Di Ricketts-Tanner – Advisor
