The Well Tank part of the tender is shown resting upside down on the chassis of Tender T2061 so final welding work can be undertaken.
The main tank of T2061 has recently been turned on its side for easier and safer access for the welding and fabrication department to finish any final welding of the various baffles and stays within the tank.
The bigger section of circular holes is the area where the water dome will be bolted onto and the smaller circular holes are where the tank filler lid will be fixed.

A reminder that the fundraiser is for shotblasting and epoxy resin coating of all surfaces to help preserve the work, adding up to 30 years of useful life to the Tender. The WSRA is covering half the cost from existing resources, the other half to come from donations.
If you are able to assist, any donation you can make would be appreciated.
